Women for Madison

Women for Madison is a dedicated group of women committed to the future of James Madison University. During my tenure with them, I created digital content, managed social media, and contributed to various on-campus events, including meeting the university president.

I successfully increased their Instagram following from approximately 600 to 1,000 and enhanced engagement on LinkedIn and Facebook. Additionally, I designed brochures and graphics tailored to our target audiences for events.

Amethyst Circle Campaign

The need for JMU scholarships has never been greater. Families are still recovering financially from COVID-19, and shifting demographics mean that scholarships are essential to making JMU a viable option for many students. Currently, JMU offers aid to only 6% of admitted students, compared to 35% at flagship competitors. For many non-matriculants, the lack of scholarships is the primary reason they cannot choose JMU.

During my involvement with this campaign, I played a pivotal role in amplifying its message and increasing donor engagement. I developed and executed targeted digital content strategies, designed impactful visuals, and optimized outreach across platforms to highlight the urgency of scholarship funding. My efforts directly contributed to building awareness and inspiring action from potential donors.

As a result, the Amethyst Circle has raised over $950,000 from more than 65 visionary women, each committing $15,000 to provide renewable scholarships for promising and deserving students. This initiative has made a profound difference, ensuring that more students can pursue the Madison Experience.
