Women for Madison

Managed and executed social media strategies that elevated the organization's mission of empowering women donors and supporters at James Madison University. These efforts contributed to raising over $1 million through targeted campaigns, engaging content, and effective platform management, enhancing community engagement and increasing awareness of the group’s initiatives.

Play-doh

For this group project we created an advertising campaign targeting college students addressing their stress levels with the calmness of Play Doh.

Created engaging and strategic social media content that elevated the brand's online presence. Efforts included crafting visually appealing posts, optimizing captions for SEO, and aligning content with the company’s natural and minimalistic aesthetic to effectively connect with its target audience.

James madison university - CFR

Developed strategic marketing and social media content to enhance donor engagement and promote university initiatives. Efforts included creating compelling posts, managing campaigns, and ensuring alignment with the university's mission to strengthen corporate and foundation partnerships.

Boxwood Home staging

Maintained user engagement on platforms like Instagram and Like to Know It. She analyzed business practices, provided improvement strategies, and utilized affiliate marketing to optimize commissions. Her content design and outreach methods contributed to high social engagement, reaching over 50,000 followers.

JMU in LA

The team revamped JMU in L.A.'s social media presence through audits, rebranding, and engaging content like vlogs and interactive posts. They boosted engagement on platforms like Instagram and TikTok, enhancing connections with students, alumni, and prospective participants while increasing brand awareness.

Rise foundation

Collaborated on campaign creation for RISE, an organization dedicated to empowering the Black community by giving voice to the voiceless and strength to the weak. The campaign targeted potential donors within Waynesboro and across Virginia, emphasizing the need for funds to build additional shelving and support advocacy programs for Black youth. The team created promotional materials, including brochures, flyers, and infographics, to effectively communicate RISE's mission and encourage community support.

Star wars project

This personal project focused on turning my love for Star Wars into a creative TikTok project, building a fan community in a male-dominated space. Through cosplay, trend analysis, and engaging content, she grew her channel to 1K followers, showcasing her passion for storytelling and community-driven content creation.

Lifetraxx

Contributed to LifeTraxx by developing strategic marketing initiatives aimed at increasing the brand’s visibility and customer engagement. I played a key role in crafting content for social media platforms, creating targeted campaigns, and optimizing digital outreach to connect with the company’s audience effectively. My efforts focused on positioning LifeTraxx as a valuable resource for individuals seeking personal and professional growth, showcasing my skills in brand development and audience-centric communication strategies.

Comfort source HVAC

Managed the Facebook and X (formerly Twitter) pages for Comfort Source HVAC, implementing branding strategies that significantly increased brand awareness and sales. Her approach also enhanced employee and community engagement.

As a Marketing and Program Development Intern at Lighthouse Labs RVA, I gained valuable insight into the venture capital ecosystem by conducting in-depth competitive research on pipeline and investment partners. I developed marketing content tailored to the entrepreneurial and startup landscape, including blog posts, newsletters, and social media campaigns, which resonated with key stakeholders. I supported fundraising initiatives, engaging corporate partners and individual donors to drive financial backing for innovation-focused programs. My work extended to maintaining the organization’s presence on platforms like CrunchBase, LinkedIn, and AngelList, enhancing visibility within the venture capital and startup ecosystem.

Kayo Conference series

As a Digital Marketing Associate I drive marketing efforts across various sectors in the private equity sphere, including energy, finance, and infrastructure. I help manage the full marketing lifecycle, encompassing email campaigns, social media, website, and lead generation. I also oversee CRM maintenance and automation workflows, ensuring seamless communication and engagement with clients and partners.

Altitude

As Leasing Professional and Social Media Coordinator at Altitude Apartments I leased apartments to over 400 residents, collaborated with the leasing manager on marketing strategies for residential events and leasing incentives, and engaged with residents daily to foster a vibrant community. I also developed innovative marketing and a rebrand for the building to achieve full occupancy, demonstrating her skills in property management, customer service, and digital marketing.

Article.

Spearheaded the creative strategy for a social media campaign for Article, a modern furniture company, as part of her SMAD 252 coursework. Targeting recent college graduates transitioning into adulthood, she crafted engaging tweets that connected emotionally with the audience, incorporating pop culture references and customer testimonials. Samantha also played a pivotal role in designing Instagram posts that offered styling tips and calls-to-action, ensuring the brand resonated with young adults furnishing their first spaces. Her work highlighted Article’s quality and expertise while positioning the company as a go-to resource for modern, accessible furniture.

The Point Va

Volunteered as a Social Media Content Creator for The Point VA, where she collaborated with the team to develop and execute engaging social media strategies. Her responsibilities included creating visually appealing and impactful content to promote church events, community outreach, and weekly services. Through her efforts, Samantha helped foster a stronger online presence, connecting the community and enhancing engagement with The Point VA’s mission.

As the Chief Marketing Officer at Freedom Structures, I am leading the development and execution of comprehensive marketing strategies to establish the company's brand presence from the ground up. Freedom Structures specializes in providing economical, multi-functional concrete structures, both above and below ground, serving as root cellars, storm shelters, and safe rooms.
